Evolution is science and faith gives meaning

I have always considered evolution as a scientific theory which is worth all its merits. It only becomes ugly when radical atheistic scientist like Dawkins turns it into an indisputable truth to throw out any forms of belief in God.

Faith, especially the Christian faith, provides an element that scientific evolution cannot offer, the meaning of our existence and the sense of overall purpose. These are so vital that if they are taken away from us, we could really fall into despair and hopelessness.

I believe in science and I believe in faith. I believe science comes from God and hence scientist will find God in their pursuit.

I am afraid it is not so easy or straightforward. Just check out Richard Dawkins', a leading evolutionist and a radical atheist, book entitled God Delusion and you will understand what I mean.

As a matter of fact, it is sometimes a struggle for believing scientists to convince their fellow professionals that God is still relevant in their vocations.

Yes, I can understand what you are saying. Coincidentally, the preacher preached on Genesis today. I gather his theme as Genesis as the foundation of our faith. It is in Genesis where God make His setting and the rules. It is in Genesis, instituted life, death, marraige, sex, family, government, nations, moral, shame, sin, moral, right & wrong...

It takes equal faith to believe God don't exist as it take to believe that God exist.

If we cannot believe in Genesis, there is no meaning in our faith.

Pray, the enemy is working hard to destroy the foundation of our faith.
