Grief and Death

My aunt passed away yesterday. She was one of the closest in the family. She has been suffering from cancer for the past few months after she was diagnosed with it. I kept wondering yesterday whether there would be means for her to be saved because I could not see her being an evil person fitting for eternal condemnation. Would there be any chance she would be judged according to her works apart from the law?

Israel, it's never easy when we lose a loved one. Take care.

For now, I've "resigned" to "let go" and trust in a God who is love and just - and whom I know through Christ on these matters, and while I will always be kept "wondering" (to use your words) if I'm thinking about someone's eternal destiny, I find myself shifting the focus more and more from my "understandings" to the person whom is holding the final say .. the Triune God.

I know and I hope and I believe... one day we will all have the final answers to our "wonderings" - and the word GRACE won't be very far away.

The Lord be with you

Thanks for the kind words. I will hope and put my faith the Lord that He will rule on this matter. I find a stange peace in doing so.

To God who knows all be all glory. Amen.
